
Michelle Gamble-Risley founded MGR Consulting in 2006. She is a seasoned veteran of the communication business, with over 20 years experience in public relations, marketing and custom publishing. She began her career in 1988 working respectively for the California departments of Justice and Water Resources. In 1991, she joined California Computer News and eventually took over the role as publisher, working on strategic communication programs to increase the publication's market presence and overall success. She then joined two new start-up companies called The Center for Digital Government and The Center for Digital Education where she served as executive editor and director of custom publications and developed an array of marketing and communication programs and services. After a brief position as director of strategic communications at a marketing agency, she left to form her own agency.
Gamble-Risley specializes in development of marketing collateral. She has written and published dozens of custom whitepapers, reports, success stories and case studies. She is also an accomplished writer, with articles appearing in regional and national magazines, including Government Technology, Converge, ENR News, T.H.E. Journal, Comstock's and Sacramento Magazine. She also wrote the screenplay Virtual Seduction that aired on Showtime.


Serving in the marketing / communications industry for over 20 years, Wilson brings a diverse wealth of expertise to her agency. Her career began in 1986 when she joined the California Association of Highway Patrolmen as its managing editor of two monthly publications. In 1999, Wilson joined e.Republic, a research, media and event firm, where she served as director of marketing, communications and publishing for two business divisions: the Center for Digital Government and Center for Digital Education. In 2006, Wilson founded R.L. Wilson Communications, a Folsom-based agency providing marketing, communications and editorial services to public and private sector clients. Wilson is a nationally published writer and editor whose work has appeared in media outlets across the country, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Time and Government Technology magazines.

Melinda Dinin, a seasoned marketing and events consultant, has over 15 years of experience working in the education, government and technology sectors. She specializes in project management and events coordination, with a proven track record in relationship management. Her skills include an excellent ability to build strong cross organizational and external relationships. She is also an expert coordinator able to strategically manage large-scale projects, campaigns, events, budgets and detail-intensive programs. She has worked with major companies including Intel, eRepublic, Direct Marketing Partners, 3Com and GlobalWare Solutions.

Anne Marie Smith has over 22 years experience as a successful consultant, manager and business owner. After spending spending 10 years in communication roles in the computer technology industry, including at Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel Corp., Smith went out on her own in 1995 and started a business communications company. Over the course of 10 years, Smith built her firm into a high-growth, successful venture with over 50 employees. The company was a Sacramento Fastest-Growing Company for three years and on Inc. magazine's 500 Fastest-Growing Privately-Held Companies list for two years. Smith sold the business in 2004. Since then, she has been consulting and writing. She is co-author of the book 60 Minute Strategic Plan: Stages, 12 Steps, 300 Words ... Better Decisions Faster. She started 60 Minute Strategic Plan (www.60msp.com), a strategic planning consulting business, in early 2006. She is currently working on a new book, 60 Minute Conflict Resolution. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
